The speed at which innovative technologies, automation and artificial intelligence are finding their way into all segments of life is very high. Above all, companies need to invest in and familiarize their employees with the possibilities offered by these technologies or risk falling behind the competition. Innovis, the technology division of the M2C holding, has therefore been offering an improved version of the E-Reception product, now called Welcomo, since this spring. It has applications in office buildings, hospitals, hotels, logistics centers, government offices, schools and addresses comprehensive visitor management in thirty languages.
Simplified building operations, reduced visitor waiting times, reduced staff workload and a professional environment: these are the main benefits of Welcomo's automated building and campus access. "Together with our company Good Sailors, a major IT consultancy and application development firm, we have created an intuitive, secure and customizable system suitable for a wide range of properties that integrate into a 21st century environment," says František Leiter, Managing Director of Innovis.
Welcomo delivers benefits through a simple user interface, efficient management of approved contractors and simplified compliance with security company protocols and regulations. "Thanks to Welcomo, companies have real-time visibility of visitors, including analytics," adds František Leiter, while in logistics and industrial sites, Welcomo can be linked to an automatic vehicle registration plate reader, which ensures automatic barrier opening thanks to the camera system.
The central communication platform of the product is a large touchscreen display, on which the visitor easily selects the reason for the visit and the robot then navigates him further. The technology scans and then verifies the authenticity of the requested document; in the case of a pre-arranged visit, it retrieves a QR code sent by email. The device then issues the visitor with an access card to open the door or summon an elevator with transport to the appropriate floor. If there is a non-standard request or if there is any problem, the visitor will be connected to the operator.
The latest version of the Welcomo electronic receptionist is the third product enhancement under the leadership of Innovis, the technology division of the internationally operating M2C holding company. The company introduced the first product in 2018 and fundamentally shifted it during the coronavirus pandemic. Today, Welcomo not only offers visitor management, but also handles complex processes in logistics and industry. Thanks to its integrated features, it can streamline processes and bring even more comfort and productivity to an office building or logistics park.
