Imagine this scenario: late at night, a perpetrator breaks into a fuel station with the intent to steal. However, the moment they cross into the cashier zone, an alarm is triggered. Instantly, a device hidden behind the counter activates – within seconds, the space is filled with an impenetrable fog. The intruder loses orientation, can’t see anything, and has no chance to steal or damage any station equipment. Frightened and disoriented, they flee empty-handed.
This is exactly the type of protection M2C Innovis is now implementing at MOL fuel stations!

VARNET - Fog Cannon Modular 200

In early April 2025, the first demonstration of the new security technology – the Fog Cannon Modular 200 by VARNET – took place at a MOL station in Králův Dvůr. The technology uses extremely dense security fog to provide immediate protection of the premises in case of intrusion.

During testing, the device was activated for 11 seconds (see video demonstration). The Fog Cannon, positioned behind the counter, instantly filled the area with very dense fog, making any visual orientation impossible. The effect was immediate and clearly demonstrated the power of the technology – the intruder has no chance to locate the cash register or any other valuables and is forced to leave the premises quickly.

The Fog Cannon technology was evaluated by the client as highly effective, and MOL has already ordered the system to be installed at 7 fuel stations, with the first implementation scheduled for May this year.
