LKQ is a leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories with operations in over 20 countries across Europe and North America. Its logistics center near the D1 highway in the Czech Republic is a key hub in the entire distribution network. Faced with increasing operational volume, high security demands, and rising costs associated with physical guarding, LKQ decided to partner with M2C to digitize and automate its security processes. The goal was to elevate security standards, reduce operating costs, and streamline site surveillance. 

Initial Challenges

A tailored Solution: Two-Phase Digitization

M2C designed and implemented a comprehensive solution divided into two main phases: a CCTV system with thermal cameras and the automation of entry corridors. The entire solution is overseen by the M2C Space remote monitoring center.

The first phase focused on modernizing the camera system and adding thermal cameras for the highest possible level of security.
